Deck Profile: Nicolas Petz "Watts" (Top 32 Continental Europa)

Hola amigos, el día de hoy en el deck Profile tenemos el deck sorpresa del Continental Europeo que pudo llegar hasta el Top 32, se trata de un deck WATT...

Asi como lo leyeron un deck Watt quedo entre los 32 mejores en Europa quizá el continental más dificil del TCG codeandose con Wind-Ups, Inzektors, Dino-Rabbit entre otros...

Y lo más sorprendente es el estilo de juego, que bueno al menos por mi parte es la primera vez que lo veo, un poco al estilo Burning y que veo como carta principal del deck a WATTCOBRA....

Al principio me fue complicado entender al deck, pero después de analizarlo completamente veo que la estrategia principal del deck es atacar directamente con Wattcobra y procurar bajar los 8000 puntos del oponente con 8 ataques, además activar su efecto acelerando el deck, principalmente para buscar a Wattdragonfly o a Watthopper para resistir castigo en lugar de Cobra. Y ya las demás cartas son para proteger a Cobra y pueda hacer su trabajo tranquilamente

De ahi es que este deck tiene para negarlo casi todo desde Effect Veiler, The Huge Revolution is Over hasta Dark Bribes, tambien puede controlar el campo con Rivalry of Warlords y Fiendish Chain, es decir aqui se tiene casi todas las cartas para poder controlar a un deck cualquiera.

Además tenemos buena aceleración en el deck con las 3 Duality las Shard of Greed, las propias Wattcobra y los Dragonfly hacen muy buen trabajo para evitar que el deck se trabe...

Ahora tambien considerando que ya no se usa mucho Dimensional Prison, que Bottomless no agarra a Cobra, y además quien va a hacer un Warning a este monstruo, entonces las maneras de controlar a esta  carta son limitadas y he aqui la trampa de este deck pues no se sabe a que estrategia juega y en lo que menos te das cuenta ya has perdido.

Igual el side deck tambien me agrado un monton, tiene cartas interesante metidas aqui, para controlar casi cualquier deck y muy bien pensado para contrarrestar a los diferentes decks de este Meta...

En verdad le doy mucho merito a este jugador, pues con cualquier deck que no sea de los Metas es muy dificil topear en estos torneos y además de esto este jugador lo hizo con uno que por todos es considerado Tier 3, asi que muchas felicidades por este logro y por saber jugar, quiza tambien la suerte lo apoyo pero es un verdadero logró y motivación para seguir buscando la construcción perfecta de nuestro deck Fun...

Pero detrás de esta victoria hay algo que nos queda claro y es el dominio que ha mostrado el Wind-Up en los torneos más importantes del TCG, pues en 3 de los 4 clasificatorios que tiene el TCG para el Mundial ha podido vencer el deck Wind-Up, que hace algunos meses empezó a perder protagonismo pensando que la venida de la "Regla de la Prioridad" lo iba a debilitar enormemente, pero al parecer no fue así...

Pero quizá el deck no haga su presencia en Japón, pues hay algunas exclusivas que son de las principales y que ayudan mucho a este deck, ellas son: Wind-Up Rabbit y Shark, por el momento no recuerdo si haya otra, pero solo con estas dos el deck se ve debilitado.

Pero bueno tenemos nuestros representantes de parte del TCG y ahora toca esperar algunos más clasificados del OCG y luego el evento más grande de nuestro "deporte" el Mundial en Japón...

En estos momentos se esta llevando a cabo las Semifinales en Europa, pero mientras tanto ya tenemos a los 4 que iran a representar a Europa en el Mundial de Yugioh que se llevará a cabo en Agosto...

WCQ Europa

Este fin de semana se realizó el WCQ en Europa y Norteamerica, de donde salieron nuevos clasificados para el mundial, por el lado de Europa ellos tienen 4 cupos mientras que Norteamerica tiene 5, personalmente creo que para aca a los Latinos tambien deberian darnos al menos 4 cupos siendo ya ganadores de 2 Mundiales pero bueno eso es otra historia....


En esta ocasión hablare acerca del campeonato Europeo los cuales tuvieron un gran reporte en vivo y ya en la pagina oficial tienen los decklists, que los pueden ver en este link


Un torneo muy interesante pues sería el debut de Hyper Librarian en torneos premier en el TCG lo cual ocasiono que la mayoria del top lo usaran, al final despues de sobrepasar un torneo de 580 jugadores el Top 16 quedo conformado de la siguiente manera:

Asi que como vemos tuvimos 9 decks distintos en el top, pero lo que me gusto es que los Tengu Plant tenian diferentes estilos de juego y a pesar de tener 5 en el top solo 1 clasificó al Mundial y fue el ganador del Torneo Europeo, el cual es un aleman llamado Michel Gruner.

Este deck me pareció muy interesante pues no es un Tengu Plant como todos los conocemos sino que tiene algunas innovaciones como el uso de Tour Guide from the Underworld el cual es una carta +1 y que acelera de gran manera el deck, en estos momentos quiza su inclusión sea apresurada, pero seguramente la veremos más seguido pues es la carta ideal para realizar una invocación XYZ nivel 3 utilizando una sola carta.
La inclusión de Maxx C me parece otra cosa interesante, más que todo considerando que el deck top actualmente es el Tengu Planta el cual realiza un monton de Invocaciones Especiales con synchros y otras cosas que el usar el Maxx C haria posible el tener como solucionar el duelo el proximo turno. Igualmente nos sirve contra Samurais, Sabers y otros tipos de decks....
En fin un deck muy bueno el del campeón probando nuevas cartas y le funcionó, pero ahora debera ingeniarselas para el mundial pues no podrá usar la misma estrategia, los Tengus serán la gran ausencia del mundial.

El segundo puesto es para el Reino Unido con un deck Gravekeeper el cual como nos tiene acostumbrados tiene la estrategia clásica de estos decks, quiza la inclusión de Effect Veiler y Gale hacen algo de diferencia dando la posibilidad de synchonizar si es necesario.
En las trampas se destaca el uso de Horn of Heaven para tener más control de las Invocaciones Especiales dando un toque más de deck control a este deck GK.
Pero al igual que los Tengus, los Gravekeeper Recruiter estaran ausentes en el torneo mundial asi que Sami deberá buscar tambien otra estrategia...

El deck X-Saber tambien presente en el Top 4, un deck que sigue siendo muy bueno y que cuando les sale el combo con Faultroll es casi imposible recuperarse, este deck sigue topeado aunque ya en menor número, pero al igual que los otros decks estará ausente en el mundial, pues Darksoul y Boggart Knight cartas claves para que este deck funcione no existen en el OCG, al parecer el TCG en este momento esta mucho más broken que el OCG contrario como en otras epocas, ahora son pocas las cartas las que podemos envidiar al OCG, en cambio ellos nos envidian mucho, pero bueno al menos ellos tendran todas estas cartas para Septiembre cuando salga el Extra Pack 4.

Y de igual manera el deck Worm sigue causando estragos en el TCG, antes pocas personas hubieran predicho que este arquetipo se volveria Top, de hecho yo los consideraba de los peores de Hidden Arsenal, pero siguieron apareciendo nuevas cartas y ahora este deck es de los más broken, ahora la carta que les da una enorme ventaja es la trampa W Nebula Meteorite, el cual les da una velocidad increible al deck.
Pero además de eso este deck esta siendo jugado a un estilo antimeta, el uso de Thunder King Raioh y Fossil Dina es perfecto para parar los decks top del momento y Gozen Match de main mata a los Tengus y Samurais, en fin un deck Worm control excelente muy interesante, creo que seguiremos viendolo muy seguido y quien sabe si con el nuevo formato se vuelva mejor pues no creo que sea tocado por la nueva lista...


Estos son los clasificados al Mundial, por nuestra parte estamos seguros que nuestros representantes latinos Jose Cuberos y Jose Ubillas van a tener un gran papel en este mundial, como dije el TCG esta más intenso que el OCG, solo esperamos que se sepa elegir el mejor deck para el torneo, en el cual creo que ya no estara la Prioridad de los Monstruos de Ignición, asi que creo que Samurais, Monarcas o Machinas seran los ganadores de este torneo, que opinan ustedes???
