Reporte Regional Bolivia

Hola a todos, un amigo Daniel Rivero me envió un reporte acerca de un regional que se llevó a cabo en Bolivia hace una semana, por mala suerte recien reviso hoy mi correo asi que lo posteó algo atrasado, pero igual quiero compartirles el reporte...

El pasado 29 de octubre se realizó el primer regional de yugioh temporada 2012 de Bolivia, como se esperaba se conto con un record de asistencia comparado con regionales pasados, esto gracias a que ademas de los playmates y los card brinders, la tienda organizadora del evento prometió un turbo pack game 6 al pozo de premios por cada jugador inscrito, lo que llamo la atención de los duelistas de todo el país. Al finalizar las rondas suizas se vio un top algo variado conformado de la siguiente manera: 1er lugar: Daniel Rivero (synchro summon); 2do lugar: Anthony Marca Tancara (T.G. Agente); 3er lugar: Fremiot Serrudo (six samurai); 4to lugar: Franco Jiménez Pietro (synchro summon); 5to lugar: Javier Pay Calisaya (tour guide agente) ; 6to lugar: Hans Barrera (zombie plant); 7mo lugar: Fernando Vásquez (Anti-meta); 8vo lugar: Marco Vargas (miracle gemini).

Al finalizar las rondas suizas y con un top 8 ya establecido, la tienda organizadora del evento dio a conocer la ultima parte del torneo, la cual consistía en una eliminatoria entre los jugadores que formaban parte del top para ver quien de ellos se llevaba los turbo packs que la tienda había prometido, eliminatoria en la que llegaron a la final Fremiot Serrudo y Daniel Rivero, quienes decidieron no jugar la final y repartirse el premio.

Una vez más se ve el deck synchro summon como el dominante del formato, sin embargo cabe decir que hubo un par de decks dark world que estuvieron a punto de dar la sorpresa, pero no lo lograron.

Decklists Top 8 Regional de Tegucigalpa-Honduras

En Honduras tambien se realizo un Regional este fin de semana en su capital Tegucigalpa, aqui gracias al blog de Duelist-Corporation tenemos la info del Top 8 de este torneo, en donde de igual manera vemos una gran variedad como decks Fabled, Frog Monarch, Machina, Agente, TG y Plantas.

Pero como vemos lo que mas ha topeado en los diferentes regionales son Agentes y variantes con plantas, asi que mas o menos el meta esta tomando forma, aunquelo genial es que sigue habiendo competencia por los distintos decks, y ademas de lo que se nos aproxima los Dark World y Photon Shockwave que esta con cartas jugo, creo que hasta ese entonces tenemos un meta algo equilibrado....

Top 4 Regional Guayaquil-Ecuador 29/01/2011

Hola a todos, bueno gracias al blog de TCG Kabras tenemos los resultados del regional que hubo en Guayaquil-Ecuador organizado por Duelist Place que es donde generalmente ocurren los regionales más grandes del país, en esta ocasión hubo la participación de 92 jugadores y tuvimos como ganador a Alejandro Jaramillo con su deck Blackwing jugando con 2 Thunder King Rai-oh para frenar cualquier deck, además de 2 D.D. Crow para el deck Debris-Dandy que esta muy popular ultimamente.

El segundo y tercer puesto lo consiguieron Miguel Vargas y Christian Muñoz con decks Quickdraw Dandywarrior muy similares, sacando el mayor provecho de Formula Synchron.

El cuarto puesto fue para Daniel Mera, que aun sin contar con los Legendary Samurai llegó al Top, lo más probable es que el deck sea golpeado en Marzo pero al parecer el deck seguira sirviendo y de seguro después de la lista creo que lo seguiremos viendo en el Top.

Asi que por aca en Ecuador el Meta esta dominado por Debris-Dandy y variantes con Quickdraw, pues a pesar de no ganar en este torneo tuvo 2 en el Top, igualmente hace 2 semanas en Quito 3 llegaron al Top 4, pero no ganaron, al parecer solo les falta definir. Pero será que este deck sea golpeado para Marzo.

Vivencias Regional

En el regional que jugue este Sábado tuve el agrado de ver que este formato esta muy equilibrado y que a pesar de las predicciones de que sería un Formato solo para X-Sabers estuve equivocado pues vi mucha variedad de decks incluso decks que se pensaban que ya no rinden (Zombie y Burning) u otros que no se los considera Tops (Hopeless) tambien otros que reaperecen (Lightsworn), decks nuevos (Scrap) y los Tops (Quickdraw, Sabers, Blackwing, Plantas) gran variedad de decks y que a pesar de que parece un formato caro por las nuevas Staples y Semi Staples, no son tan indispensables y se puede ganar sin ellos.

Ahora en el Torneo vi el uso de algunas cartas que me parecieron interesantes, y que dan son bien pensadas para el uso en este formato, en este post les pongo algunas de ellas:

Stygian Street Patrol el pana de los Infernities

Los Infernities bajaron su poder al limitar Launcher, pero a diferencia de Japón nosotros tenemos una carta que hace que este deck siga dando pelea se trata de las Infernity Barrier, con esto del deck Infernity puede controlar el juego pero para traer a estas Infernity Barrier rapidamente a la mano necesita del efecto de Archfiend, pero ahora ya es un poco más dificil usarlo, además teniendolo en la mano no se puede utilizar su efecto pues necesita ser Invocado Especialmente, pero tenemos la solución, se trata de Stygian Patrol, esta nos permite invocarlo desde la mano especialmente y hacer efecto, de esta manera hacemos un gran combo pudiendo traer cualquier Infernity del deck, y como aun no he hecho Normal puedo hacer varias cosas con monstruos como Mirage o Necromancer, asi que este nuevo amigo de los Infernities esta realmente genial tiene buen ataque que puede servir para destruir algo y además un efecto que hace algo de damage cuando destruye un monstruo, asi que esta muy bien la carta, y buen soporte para Infernities.

Victoria por Magic Cylinder

Esta carta fue semilimitada, dandole un poco de ayuda a los decks Burning, pero ahora cada vez más duelistas estan decidiendo poner esta carta en sus decks, pues es una carta que gana duelos y lo más cercano que podriamos tener a un Ring of Destruction, la verdad yo no me arriesgo a meter esta carta pues es una carta -1, pero en ciertos momentos de los duelos resulta muy util incluso te puede hacer ganar, pues el oponente confiado de su victoria puede atacar y con esta trampa todo se acaba, ahora que Invocar Synchros es lo que más se hace, los Cilindros Mágicos bajan de 2000 puntos para arriba, y tomando en cuenta que se estan jugando dos es un gran damage, y recordemos que ahora casi todos juegan Solemn Warning que son 2000 puntos más, resulta en verdad un buen negocio ganar gracias a esta trampa, y en verdad perder ante esto es lo más horrible que puede haber.... pues generalmente se esta a punto de ganar!!!!

Jinzo returns!!!!

Este formato debe ser uno de los ideales para Jinzo, al no haber Heavy Storm ahora los decks estan jugando con un monton de cartas Trampa y en realidad los necesitas los BW necesitan a Icarus, los GB necesitan a War Chariot, los Sabers necesitan a Gottoms Emmergency Call, además recordemos que hay las Staples Solemn Warning, Bottomless Trap Hole, Mirror, Dimensional Prison, Torrential, etc. Asi que ahora Junzo esta muy bien, muchos pensarian en usar Royal Decree y esta muy bien, pero el hecho de usar a Jinzo en el deck nos permite tambien tener algunas de nuestras Trampas que son muy buena, claro que no la usaremos con Jinzo en el campo pero después que Jinzo deje el campo tendremo ahi nuestras trampitas para cualquier cosa, además esos 2400 de Jinzo siguen siendo geniales, muy buena esta carta en especial para este formato.

Effect Veiler refuerzo para los Luminosos

El deck Lightsworn esta volviendo poco a poco a topear, siempre ha buscado diferentes cartas de variantes para darle el poder a su deck, y una de las más recientes es Effect Veiler otra de las cartas tan usadas de Duelist Revolution, esta carta puede resultar de mucha ayuda para nosotros, al detener varios efectos durante un turno, de esta manera se puede estropear la jugada del oponente, las cuales generalmente se las puede realizar una vez en el duelo, pero con esta carta Effect Veiler podemos salvarnos, además de todo eso, esta carta da un toque de Synchronia a los LS, asi que cuando lo necesite el deck puede synchronizar un poco más ahora ya con esta carta.

Un Burning bacan....

Chain Energy es una de las cartas más antiguas del juego, y en el regional un duelista jugó con un deck Burning enfocado en esta carta, el deck me gusto mucho y en nuestro duelo el que ganaba pasaba al Top 8, a mi me logro salvar mi Brionac, pero me puse en muchos apuros, la estrategia del deck se enfoca en usar esta carta para bajar LP, además de las otras diferentes cartas que existen, hasta que finalmente dejar al oponente con 500 o menos puntos de vida, de esta manera y con Chain Energy en el campo ya has perdido, de alli solo es cuestion de que el oponente haga algunas jugadas para seguir bajando los puntos de vida, esta carta Chain Energy te deja en una mala situación, tienes que empezar a jugar y setear lo menos posible para no terminar derrotado, asi que este deck Burning me pareció una buena idea, y que en el Torneo le fue bien.

Poder Breaker....

Otra de las cartas que esta volviendo es Breaker the Magical Warrio, muchos vi que lo jugaban de Side Deck incluso, ahora sin Heavy Storm todos setean casi todo, y muchas veces son cartas que no se pueden encadenar, o que lo setean por setear, asi que usando a Breaker podemos tener monstruo y hacer un Typhoon, tomando de cierta manera ventaja, además otros de las razones por las que usar Breaker actualmente es buena opción es el hecho que ahora cais todos juegan 2 o 3 Solemn Warning, e invocando a esta carta el oponente se pondra en una mala situación, debera elegir entre perder a Solemn Warning o pagar 2000 puntos por Breaker, ciertamente nosotros ganamos, pues ese Solemn Warning que se estaba esperando usar para algo mejor ahora ya no serviria...

Bien esas son algunas de las estrategias que muchos vi este fin de semana que me gustaron y que muchos duelistas alrededor del mundo o estan haciendo, viejas cartas estan regresando, y claro nuevas estan apareciendo, el Yugi cada vez esta mejor....

Blackwing 'Ganador' Regional Ecuador

Hola a todos, el día de ayer sábado 23 de octubre se disputó el torneo Regional en Quito, hubo cerca de 50 participantes por lo que sólo hubo 4 Invitaciones al Continental, este al ser el último regional de esta temporada tenía duelistas que jugaban sus mejores decks donde hubo de todo un poco: Lightsworn, Blackwings, Gladiadores, X-Sabers, Quickdraws y otros más, el torneo fue muy variado y no hubo un deck que dominara el torneo, lo cual me gusto del torneo.

Entonces resulta que participe en el torneo y con mi deck Blackwing logre 'ganar' el regional, resulta que junto con un amigo logramos pasar a la final, y ya como estaba de noche y teniamos que regresar a nuestra ciudad decidimos dejarle en empate y repartirnos el premio como buen equipo... pero como no se podia dejar el torneo en empate me pusieron como ganador porque mi amigo clasificó al Continental y yo no lo hice, muchos se preguntaran el porque, pero resulta que la tienda que organizó el torneo decidió dar los pases a los 4 primeros en las 6 rondas que se organizó y yo como termine en el puesto número 6 no pude clasificar, me parecíó raro pero son las reglas de la tienda.

De alli se jugó el Top 8 que más que nada era para ver cual era el campeón y para repartir los premios y pude en el Top 8 tener mi revancha contra un Lightsworn que me ganó en la quinta ronda y en la semifinal me tocó contra un amigo que jugaba Quickdraw y lo pude vencer, finalmente la final me tocaba contra un Infernity pero como lo dije lo dejamos ahi...

El deck que use fue un Blackwing un poco editado que como se pueden dar cuenta no tiene Pot of Duality ni Solemn Warning, esto es porque estan muy costosos y cotizados asi que estaba dificil conseguirmelos, tampoco juego DAD pues ya no tenia que sacar decidí jugar con esta estrategia BW con muchisimas trampas para controlar al oponente y me funciono, aunque en un duelo de las eliminatorias un Jinzo me mató.

Jugue primero contra un Antimeta que lo logré vencer, luego perdí contra un deck Flamvell (más que todo un Jinzo me mató), el tercero me tocó con un Lightsworn que me cogió por sorpresa y extrañe al Starlight Road, después jugué contra un X-Saber que lo supe manejar después de todo tambien tengo un deck X-Saber, el quinto me tocó contra otro Lightsworn en esta ocasión tuve dos turnos para matar al oponente pero no me salía monstruos, mientras que después de dos turnos trajo a Judgement Dragon a la mano por Gold Sarcohagus y se acabo.

Esta 3-2 y faltaba una ronda, no estaba seguró si podia pasar pero igual ya tocaba la ultima ronda que me tocó contra un deck burning enfocado en Chain Energy, el deck me gustó mucho y lo posteare más adelante pero gracias a mi Brionac pude vencer.... Asi estuve 4-2 y logre pasar gracias a que con quienes perdi estaba uno 6-0 y el otro 5-1 por lo que pude entrar en sexto puesto, de alli entre al Top 8 y logre llegar a la final.

Como dije es un deck sin las cosas nuevas que salieron, son un buen soporte pero no es lo más importante para un deck BW, yo diria que lo más importante de este deck BW son sus monstruos e Icarus Attack, y claro que tambien Black Whirlwind cuando sale, Solemn Warning y Pot of Duality son un buen soporte pero no son tan necesarios.

Jugue los monstruos básicos BW del deck que rara vez cambian, pero además de eso decidí agregar 2 Ryko en el deck, estos son el elemento sorpresa, pues generalmente lo unico que un deck Blackwing setearia son los Vayus, y no le dan importancia, de esta manera Ryko hace una de sus funciones además de que permite deshacernos de cosas que estorban a los BWs como Thunder King Rai-oh, Royal Decree, Consencrated Light y otros, y además de eso con sus efecto de descarte puede enviar Vayus o Siroccos facilitando asi su uso desde el cementerio, además puede mandar cartas al cementerio para poder revivirlos por Blizzard.

De alli el usó de 13 trampas es para controlar al oponente además para reducir sus jugadas, pues cuando alguien ve muchas cartas seteadas procura hacer pocas jugadas para no acabar de perder todas sus cartas, entre estas trampas jugué Deck Devastation Virus para derrotar a Sabers y Quickdraw que son de los tops, tambien la carta que me hizó ganar muchisimos duelos es Delta Crow Anti Reverse, muchos creo que se olvidaban de esta carta y seteaban muchisimo y yo con esta carta me iba llevando 2 o 3 cartas seteadas ya con esta ventaja era muy dificil que se recuperen. Pero como dije lo que me mataba era Jinzo y Royal Decree asi que tocaria hacer alguna modificación a esta parte del deck.

El Side Deck lo hice principalmente contra Machinas que es lo que más me molesta, por eso puse 2 Cyber Dragon y 2 Pulling the Rug, contra X-Sabers puse Gottoms, los DD Crow para los infernity y otros decks más, Jujitsu para los Gladiadores, Banisher para Quickdraw y Heraldos y la unica Fissure para matar a las Consecrated.

Asi fue el deck que jugue me fue muy bien y pienso para la otra hacer algunas modificaciones para poder clasificar al Continental, espero vernos alla donde sea que sea el Continental.
